Day 1 Raw Food Diet

It's only 4:30 PM and I am ready for this day to be over. I have been so tired all day that I just cannot stand it. I woke up this morning with a slight tinge of a hangover. Yesterday I ate a sandwich for lunch and didn't eat anything else. I thought last night it would be a good idea to do a few Jagers since they aren't raw and it would be the last time well at least for 30 days.

I have been a strange kind of tired though, not the normal day after drinking. I won't have coffee tomorrow, but it saved me today.

6 AM
Coffee 2 Cups

Breakfast:
7 AM
1 Cup of Red Grapes

9 AM
Small Smoothie with Banana's and Strawberries

Lunch:
11 AM
Huge Spring Mix Salad with corn, peas, onion, tomato, and cukes. Drizzled with Olive Oil and Cracked Black Pepper.

It is pretty but taste a little too plain. After I took the picture I drizzled a small amount of vegan (not raw) dressing on it. I'll need to find some good raw salad dressing recipes.

2 PM
I felt so hungry I couldn't stand it so I ate a really big banana

4 PM
I decided to go to Earth Fare and look for some raw soy sauce and see if they had anything raw ready made. I never found the soy sauce but I did find some raw flax seed, tomato and onion crackers! Excellent they are so good too.

On the way home from the store I stopped to get gas and had the overwhelming urge for a V8. I don't believe that is raw but it was either that or a diet coke.

As soon as I got home I made a nori roll with avocado and cucumber. Since I couldn't find the soy sauce I used some Braggs with my wasabi. It's much different eating nori when it's not toasted and there's no rice. It was kind of hard to chew. Maybe I have to soak it or something. I'll have to look into that.

So the first day has not been so bad. I have been really hungry though. That could be because of yesterday I'm not sure. I have also had a dull headache all day. I wouldn't think that my body is already reacting to this....

We'll see. Tomorrow I'm going to visit my in laws. I think I'll keep the raw hushed. They are finally getting used to me being vegan I don't think I want to explain this yet.
